We understand that you are probably working full time or trying to get a new job and that is why at the L2 Accent Reduction Centre we have created accent training programs that give you the ultimate flexibility in scheduling. Other places have a set time and schedule; at the L2 Accent Reduction Centre your accent training schedule is completely up . We understand that you might have a hectic schedule or a family to care for and that is why we have a number of options for you to take advantage of:
Option 1 - Speech Improvement Classes at the Centre
For this option, you can schedule classes around your work or personal life any time from Tuesday to Saturday. Our unique online voice recognition technology system allows us to monitor your progress while you are away from the centre. You will learn the techniques in class, but have the comfort of knowing that someone is listening to you online to make sure that you are producing the sounds correctly.
Option 2- Start your Online Accent Training in Summer 2010!
This option is for those requiring the ultimate flexibility for time for accent reduction classes. You can complete the accent training program from the comfort of your own home and you will be monitored by a Speech Improvement Professional 24/7. You can always be assured that you are producing your new techniques correctly.
A web based instructional video and 1 year monitored voice recognition program offers:
- An instructional video on how to produce the sound
- Repeating the words and phrases
- Submit your recording
- A fail or pass mark will be given for the exercise. If you receive a fail you will need to repeat it.
- After you have completed the techniques you will then graduate to the practice section of the program. The practice section is based on voice recognition technology and you will receive immediate feedback.
Option 3- Accent Training Through Online Skype
If you prefer to have an online pronunciation coach, but you are unable to travel; this is the right option for you. The program operates as follows:
- 10-20 lessons will be conducted via Skype (you can download Skype for free)
- During each lesson 3-4 different techniques will be taught
- The techniques will be reinforced through our voice recognition online web program
- Before each lesson, we will monitor your progress and if you have any errors we will review the problems at the beginning of the next class.
- After your classes are completed, we will monitor your web program for up to a year with weekly feedback- thus ensuring that your techniques are maintained.
